The Gospel of St. John (Basle)

Introduction

To the reader:

These notes, composed afterwords from memory by four persons who were present at the lectures, are intended primarily for those who took part in the Course in Basle. In the interest of Spiritual Science we do not wish these notes to be used for the spreading of the ideas contained in them, as they do not reproduce the contents of the lectures word for word but quite freely, and for this reason they may contain many faults. Besides, Dr. Steiner may publish these lectures on St. John's Gospel later. We wish to achieve nothing more through our work then to provide for a few friends who themselves participated in the Cycle, a remembrance of those beautiful November days in Basle.
